older siblings

my brother told me im 17 and to grow up now who else has a brother sister mom or dad that tells them pokemon is for kids it makes me mad your never to old to play pokemon

i havent i know some guy that is a student teacher at my highschool and he still plays pokemon occasionally and hes 25 so they neeed to learn pokemon is 8+ 8 PLUS could be to 99[i][u]

I don't have any family that thinks it is strange.
My sister(18), plays it aswell (tough I have to say she isn't very good at it )
My parents just wonder how I can still like to play it, they something like: "It's still the same game, just with a new design and some new creatures, what's the point in buying it?" and then I get one for my birthday or a buy it myself lol

I highly doubt my dad is aware of what Pokemon exaclty is, but Pokemon is FOR EVERYONE.
Even ESRB says it, it's Rated E for Everyone, Pokemons rules and EVERYONE knows it.
I know persons 24 years old which still play it, one of my teachers who is 39 years old likes to play Emerald some times.
